DEAR COMRADE' A REMAKE OF 'CIA'? FIND OUT HERE!




Ever since the Trailer for 'Dear Comrade' was out on Thursday, there have been speculations that the film is an unofficial remake of a Malayalam movie titled 'Comrade In America'.  'CIA' starred Dulquer Salman in the lead.  

The Trailer for the Vijay Deverakonda movie has some uncanny similarities with that of 'CIA'.  College backdrop, students subscribing to Communism (this aspect is not highlighted in DC's trailer, though), the male lead going on a journey with a purpose, and a love story (which is quite understated in 'CIA' trailer).  

In 'CIA', the hero enters the US to get reunited with his lover.  In the trailer for 'DC', Deverakonda's character does seem to be searching to reconnect with Lily (Rashmika Mandanna) after their love story falls apart.
